Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of Charlotte is urgently hiring a caregiver for in-home care to support seniors with daily living activities including personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Treat clients with dignity and respect.
• Able to interpret the client’s plan of care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations.
• Reachable by phone or email for schedules, updates, emergencies.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Prior experience with dementia or elder care is a plus.
• At least 1 year of paid caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing.
• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing.
• Planning and preparing meals.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Providing transportation to and from appointments.
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques.
