Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of Charlotte is urgently hiring a caregiver to provide in-home care for seniors in Charlotte, NC. You will support clients with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship to help maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Treat clients with dignity and respect.
• Interpret the client’s plan of care.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Be flexible and adapt to new situations.
• Reachable by phone or email for shifts and emergencies.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Experience with dementia or senior care is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year paid caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom, feeding).
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linen changes).
• Assist with dressing and laying out clothes.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport to and from appointments.
• Help families learn safe care techniques.
