HomeWell Care Services of Charlotte is urgently hiring a caregiver to provide in-home care for seniors in Charlotte, NC. You will support daily living activities, including personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship, to help clients maintain independence and comfort at home.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate in-home care according to the client’s plan of care.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with dementia or senior care is a plus.
• At least 1 year of paid caregiving experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and client needs.
• Must be reachable by phone or email for shifts and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom, feeding).
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linen changes).
• Lay out clothes and assist with dressing.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Provide transportation to appointments as needed.
• Help family members learn safe caregiving techniques.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect

• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
• At least 1 year of paid caregiving experience
