Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus technical skills/training appropriate to the specialty area.
• Licenses & certifications include CNA/ CMA/ EMT-B, Basic Life Support, Aggression Management, EKG/Phlebotomy competency as applicable.
• Two years of related clinical work experience, including nursing program rotations.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse on inpatient units.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and staff nurses to ensure patient care needs are met.
• Perform delegated patient care activities and adhere to patient safety measures.
• Demonstrate personal and professional effectiveness in daily duties.
• Utilize basic patient care skills, medical terminology, communication, organization and computer skills.
