Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CMA/EMT-B certification; nursing students exempt with course completion.
• BLS from AHA-approved program required.
• Aggression Management certification within 90 days of hire.
• EKG and/or Phlebotomy competency within 6 months of hire.
• Other certificates as required by unit/service/clinic.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and staff nurses to meet patient care needs.
• Perform delegated patient care activities and adhere to patient safety measures.
• Demonstrate and model professional behavior and basic clinical skills.
