Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma City is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to support patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. You will perform designated clinical tasks and non-clinical support to help patients achieve the highest level of wellness.

Mercy offers a structured training path through an accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship program, 175 hours if no prior experience, completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or CNA/CPTC enrollment.
• Experience: none required.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into the EMR system.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport.
• Clerical support duties as needed.
