Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a forklift operator to safely operate forklift and wrapping equipment, maintain organized stock, and document inbound/outbound materials at our New Oxford site. The role supports production by pulling jobs, managing inventory tags, and coordinating with shipping handlers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months forklift experience, and the ability to work overtime, including weekends, in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months’ experience operating a forklift.
• Willing to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machinery.
• Able to obtain and maintain PCA certified forklift license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and maintain inbound forms and inventory tags.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain warehouse organization.
• Follow safety rules and report any forklift defects to supervisor or maintenance.
• Be alert to defects of incoming material.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
