Job summary

Colonial Group operates a warehouse in California and is seeking a dependable forklift operator. You will handle material movement, loading/unloading, and wrapping duties while maintaining clean, organized stock areas and timely paperwork.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who can work with a team, adapt to temperature variations, and stay alert to material quality and equipment condition. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift experience required.
• Must be able to obtain PCA certified forklift license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull job for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload, organize warehouses, and perform general cleaning.
• Follow rules and procedures relative to the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, including reporting missing, broken, bent or worn parts to supervisor or maintenance.
• Be alert to any obvious defects of incoming material.
• Adhere to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
