Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months’ experience operating a forklift.
• Overtime availability on short notice, including weekends.
• Manufacturing environment experience and ability to work around machinery and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PCA-certified forklift license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and manage inbound forms, inventory tags and counts.
• Assist other shipping/receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain warehouse organization.
• Follow safety rules and report damaged forklift parts or safety issues.
• Be alert to defects in incoming material.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
