St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the 4D TCU Cardiac/Neuro Telemetry unit in Edgewood, KY. Part-time, 24 hours per week, 7A-7P.

You’ll start with on-the-job training, and receive orientation with a preceptor as you begin your PCA career in a Magnet-recognized system. • High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to perform vital signs and basic patient care tasks.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and general computer use.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and maintain clerical functions on the unit.
• Greet patients/visitors and answer telephone with Customer Service skills.
• Complete worklist tasks from physician orders or nurse directions under supervision.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN supervision.
