Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for our 4SE TCU Cardiac/Telemetry unit. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week, 7 PM to 7 AM, with on-the-job training and orientation support.

You will coordinate clerical tasks, greet patients, assist with daily living, and work under RN or LPN supervision, in a Magnet-recognized system with opportunities for career growth and internal mobility.

Qualifications

• Education, Credentials, Licenses: High school Diploma / GED
• Specialized Knowledge: Ability to perform such tasks as vital signs
• General computer skills and applications
• Kind and Length of Experience: Customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and maintains the clerical functions and duties of a designated unit/program
• Greets patients/visitors and answers telephone using Customer Service skills
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and maintains a safe, clean environment
• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or LPN
