St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the 4D TCU Cardiac/Neuro Telemetry unit at Edgewood Hospital. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week on a 7A-7P schedule, with on-site responsibilities and on-the-job training.

You will greet patients, assist with activities of daily living, perform tasks under supervision, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while developing clinical skills in a Magnet-recognized health system.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma / GED is required.
• Ability to perform such tasks as vital signs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of body mechanics.
• General computer skills and applications.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients/visitors and answer telephone.
• Complete worklist tasks triggered by physician orders or nurse tasks under supervision.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN direction.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
