Job summary

Asbury Chandler Estates is hiring a PCA to provide compassionate resident care and medication assistance. You will support daily living activities, uphold dignity, and help residents maintain independence while following safety protocols.

The role offers variable shifts: FT 3pm-11:30pm with a 0.75 shift diff, FT 11:00 PM-7:30 AM with a 0.5 shift diff, and PT 7am-3:30pm. Opportunities for advancement are highlighted within the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus.
• Experience with older adults or retirement housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Administer medications safely and accurately as prescribed.
• Follow a strict verification process for resident, medication, and dosage/timing.

Hours And Pay

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
• Full Time: 3pm-11:30pm + .75 Shift diff
• Full Time: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM + .5 Shift diff
• Part Time: 7am-3:30pm

Job Description

• Attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
• Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
• Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
• Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
• Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus
• 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry is preferred
