Job summary

Southern Hearts Homecare of Georgia inc is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support clients in Adrian, GA. You will assist with daily living activities, safety and independence, and provide compassionate, reliable care in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Previous Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience is preferred.
• Polite, professional, reliable, and effective communicators.
• Previous experience with elderly or disabled individuals and light housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.

• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior.

• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients’ privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
