Job summary

We are seeking competent Personal Care Assistants to support clients in their everyday lives, helping with activities of daily living and maintaining safety and independence. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, mobility, and lightweight housekeeping; providing companionship; observing changes; documenting services; and following care plans.

• Previous Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients' needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client's plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients' privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
