Qualifications

• Previous Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of performing caregiving duties.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients' needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow care plan and task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly during emergencies.
• Protect clients' privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
