Qualifications

  • Compassionate, patient and dependable demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living.
  • Aid with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Prepare meals according to clients' needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Assist clients with shopping and errands.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
  • Follow each client's plan of care and report changes timely.
  • Observe and report changes in a client's condition or behavior.
  • Document services accurately and on time.
  • Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
  • Protect clients' privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
  • Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.

Applicants must be polite, professional, reliable, and effective communicators. Previous experience assisting elderly individuals or people with disabilities and performing light housekeeping duties is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medication reminders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience is preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organized and able to follow instructions.
  • Committed to client health and safety.
  • Physically capable of performing required caregiving duties.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Current TB test.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
