TEKsystems is seeking a Power & Performance Tester for a contract role in Spring, TX, offering a hybrid work model. You will validate software releases, analyze battery life and power usage, and assess new software solutions for client PC platforms.

The role focuses on ensuring performance, reliability, and compatibility across systems, collaborating with the TIO team and other stakeholders. Compensation is hourly, with benefits eligibility where applicable.

Seeking a Power & Performance Tester to support a key initiative focused on improving software guidance and ensuring optimal battery performance across our clients PC platforms. This role is essential in validating new software releases, identifying potential impacts on power consumption, and helping maintain the performance and reliability standards expected by our clients custhomers

• Evaluate Software Releases: Support the software release cycle by auditing new builds, verifying stability, and ensuring readiness for scheduled shipment deadlines.

• Battery Life Analysis: Test and identify any softwarerelated factors that could negatively impact battery life or overall power performance.

• New Software Solution Validation: Work with new technology inputs from the TIO team, assessing how upcoming software solutions may affect our clients device power behavior.

• CrossFunctional Checks: Conduct crosschecks to ensure new software integrations do not conflict with existing system components or degrade performance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Spring, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
