Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IT Technician to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. The role involves imaging, installations, configurations, and ongoing troubleshooting.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset, with familiarity in PXE imaging and remoting into workstations a plus. On-site Wilton, CT location.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience (IT Technician, PC Technician, Imaging Technician, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with computer build-out and setup; imaging, application installs, and configuration.
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong relationship-building.
  • Self-motivated team player with interpersonal skills.
  • Plusses: PXE imaging/reimaging workstations; end-user support deskside and remoting into workstations.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Order, install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot problems in a timely fashion and provide end-user training as required.

Job description

Job Description:

The role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes ordering, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and software while ensuring optimal workplace performance. The individual will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.
