Job summary

ManpowerGroup on behalf of a technology client in Durham, NC is seeking a Repair Technician to diagnose, test, and repair POS equipment. The role includes maintaining repair records, documenting parts usage, and supporting inventory processes.

You will work Monday–Friday with either a 7am–4pm or 10am–7pm schedule and rotational Saturdays. Pay is $16/hour with weekly pay and benefits eligibility after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in electronics repair or assembly.
• Ability to follow testing scripts and diagnostic procedures.
• Strong documentation skills for tracking processes, parts usage, and inventory.
• Knowledge of hand tools and small component repairs.
• Basic computer skills for repair tasks and software use.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair point of sale equipment (printers, displays, scanners, etc.).
• Maintain repair records, document parts usage, and manage inventory.
• Assist with shipping, sorting, packaging, refurbishing.
• Clean, test, reassemble, and update units with necessary software/firmware.
• Maintain clean work areas and handle recycling/waste tasks.

Pay Range: $16/hour
