Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a PC Network Support Technician to join the Melbourne, FL team. The role involves on-site, full-time support for information system lifecycle activities, including ticketing, hardware moves, and basic diagnostics.

Required are a Security+ or higher, DOD Secret clearance, and strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and remote deployment methods. Preferred are VMWare VDI experience and familiarity with ServiceNow/JIRA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 0+ years.
• Must have a Security+ certification or greater.
• Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum).
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage tickets for all support incidents, ensuring timely updates and proper documentation.
• Relocate workstations and equipment between campus buildings to resume operations quickly.
• Provide basic diagnostics, isolate and analyze hardware and software problems.
• Resolve technical issues and answer queries by phone, for internal and external users.
• Assist with security paperwork and maintaining compliance for hardware/software in classified environments.
