Job summary

Dutech Systems is seeking an IT desktop support professional in Houston to install, configure, and repair PC hardware and peripherals. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues and collaborate with end users on data migration requirements.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience, basic networking knowledge, and strong problem-solving and customer service skills. A CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT, desktop support or PC-related role.
• Hands-on desktop hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of PC hardware configuration, installation, and repair.
• Basic networking and connectivity understanding.
• Experience with data migration and end-user support.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and repair PC hardware and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot desktops hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Coordinate data migration requirements with end users.
• Monitor trouble tickets and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Set up PCs and related equipment for special requests.
• Provide guidance to desktop support teams on hardware issues.
• Assist end users with desktop support requests.
• Follow facility security policies, safety standards, and licensing procedures.
• Maintain records of installations, repairs, and support activity.
• Collaborate with IT team for timely resolution of technical issues.
