Job summary

NuAxis, a federal IT company, is seeking a PC Deployment Technician for a Full-Time position on the WMATA PC Deployment Team. The role covers imaging, installations, problem resolution, configuration (hardware/software), and Desk Side Support.

The technician will perform diagnostics, repairs, and inventory tracking; provide on-site user support, respond to tickets, and coordinate with Service Desk, Network Services, and Desktop Engineering to resolve issues and meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• Must pass National Agency Background Investigation for Public Trust.
• 1–3 years of deployment project experience with base image installation.
• Experience with Windows 7/10 and imaging.
• OEM Warranty Repair Certification must be obtainable.
• Able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Imaging, installations, problem resolution, and Desk Side Support.
• Diagnostics, repairs, and inventory tracking; asset management.
• Respond to tickets and ensure timely resolution per SLAs.
• Document work in ITSM tools and tracking systems (CA Service Desk, SharePoint).
