Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking detail-oriented PC Refresh Technicians to support a large-scale device replacement initiative in Orlando. You will deploy new hardware, enable Autopilot provisioning, coordinate shipments, and provide end-user support throughout migration.

The role focuses on Windows 10/11 deployments, device configuration, asset management, and customer service, with on-site and remote support as needed for a smooth transition.

Qualifications

Description

We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused PC Refresh Technicians to support a large-scale end-user device replacement initiative. This role will assist with deploying new hardware to employees, coordinating device shipments, preparing and configuring endpoints utilizing Microsoft Autopilot, and providing end-user support throughout the migration process.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows device deployments, endpoint support, hardware troubleshooting, and customer service. While many devices will be provisioned through Autopilot and shipped directly to users, technicians will also assist with device preparation, asset management, issue resolution, and user onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Support enterprise PC refresh and device replacement projects.
• Prepare, configure, and validate Windows laptops and desktop devices for deployment.
• Assist with Microsoft Autopilot enrollment, device provisioning, and deployment activities.
• Rename devices, verify asset information, and ensure deployment standards are followed.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, tracking, and inventory management of hardware assets.
• Troubleshoot deployment-related issues during device setup and onboarding.
• Provide remote and/or onsite support to end users during device transitions.
• Assist users with initial login, account setup, application access, and peripheral connectivity.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and basic troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, and accessories.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior support teams when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deployment activities, inventory records, and support tickets.
• Follow established project schedules and deployment procedures to meet rollout timelines.
• Support data migration activities and device reimaging when required.
• Ensure compliance with security, inventory, and asset management standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support, deployment, or PC refresh experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot, Intune, or endpoint management tools.
• Experience supporting hardware deployments and device lifecycle management.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and documenting support activities.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
• Previous enterprise PC refresh or large-scale deployment project experience.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with asset management and inventory control processes.
• Understanding of hardware imaging and deployment methodologies.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
