Job summary

BankOnIT in Oklahoma City is seeking a Configuration Technician to provide hands-on PC setup, system reimaging, and end-user technical support. The role involves assisting clients and colleagues, diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues, and guiding users through solutions.

Qualifications

Intermediate understanding of desktop operating systems and PC/Server/Network hardware.
Knowledge of network systems and management principles.
Two or more relevant certifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Configure PCs for clients based on specified parameters.
Re-image PCs for OS reloads.
Provide technical software/hardware/network problem resolution to end-users in a call center or on-site.
Serve as initial or second-level contact for end-user support.
Answer help desk calls in high volume situations.
Assist less experienced technicians with technical problems.
Communicate solutions clearly to peers and staff.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as needed.
Perform related duties as required.
