Job summary

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a friendly PBX Telephone Operator to join our front-of-house team. You will answer a high volume of guest calls with a courteous, professional manner and assist with basic desk duties as needed to support check-ins and check-outs.

Ideal candidates bring strong typing skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to answer high volume calls with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Proficient typing and data entry for guest information.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred for guest interactions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude, and excellent phone demeanor.
• The PBX Telephone Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls, and should be comfortable and able to answer questions relating to the Hotel.
• This Candidate may also need to assist at the desk with check-ins and check-outs.

Starting rate: $19.00 per hour

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.
