Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a Supervisor PBX to oversee telecommunications staff, act as the Director’s agent to Communications staff, and ensure reliable telephone operations. You will supervise staff, revise policies, maintain directories, assist with payroll reports, and serve as back-up operator when needed.

This role requires 2+ years PBX experience and prior supervisory experience, with strong organizational, confidential, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PBX experience; supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational, confidentiality, and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Adaptable to new ideas and changing priorities; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Act as troubleshooter for Communications.
• Revise/create Communications' Policy and Procedures as necessary.
• Monitor/maintain directories and operators' lists and handbooks; keep electronic directory current.
• Back-up to provide payroll attendance reports; handle payroll edits/corrections for department(s).
• Work as telephone operator when short staffed.
