Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a PBX Operator PRN to manage the facility's telecommunication systems and respond to emergent codes. The role supports patient care by ensuring clear, timely communication across departments in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Three years PBX Operator, communications, or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to work under stress and be emotionally capable of coping with complex and/or changing conditions.
• Requires the ability to prioritize, problem solve, make sound decisions, and work on a team.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Assumes responsibility for the telecommunication processes of the facility to include handling various codes and other emergent occurrences. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, infant, child, adolescent ,adult and geriatric population.
