This role involves handling all incoming communication, assisting guests and staff courteously and professionally, in line with Omni Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize phones, radios, and alarm systems effectively within Ideal Services.
  • Be familiar with systems like Opera, Alice, Micros POS, Synergy, SALTO, Two-Way Radio Dispatch, and ISD Firepanel.
  • Understand parking procedures.
  • Take In-Room Dining orders and enter them into MICRO’s POS system.
  • Follow up on guest requests and concerns, adhering to service recovery protocols.
  • Execute Ideal Services/PBX scenarios according to standards.
  • Protect guest confidentiality and room key access following SOPs.
  • Understand check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Maintain 4-Star / 4-Diamond guest service standards.
  • Be familiar with hotel rate plans, codes, and reservation procedures.
  • Know hotel amenities and facilities, including Internet, programs, laundry, pools, meeting spaces, and parking.
  • Understand interdepartmental relationships.
  • Be aware of local attractions and businesses.
  • Handle reservations and special packages.
  • Greet guests warmly via phone and radio, direct calls appropriately, and respond to guest questions and concerns promptly.
  • Respond calmly to emergencies and alarms, contacting management and following procedures.
  • Enter alerts into Opera and Synergy, follow up to resolve issues.
  • Manage packages, faxes, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Deliver wake-up calls professionally and on schedule.
  • Follow safety, security, and company policies; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
  • Repetitive motion skills for phone and computer use.
