Job summary

Makeready LLC in Charleston, SC is seeking a friendly PBX Operator to answer incoming calls on the hotel switchboard, provide reservations information, and assist guests with courtesy and professionalism.

The role requires clear communication with other departments, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to resolving guest concerns. You will contribute to a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly phone voice with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and respond to guest requests politely.
• Experience in hospitality or call-center environments is a plus.

In search of a friendly phone voice! A PBX Operator promptly and efficiently answers incoming calls on the hotel switchboard regarding reservations, hotel information, or guest concerns while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. This person takes great satisfaction in making guests happy and communicates clearly and accurately with other departments to ensure that guest requests or problems are resolved.

Requested Tasks

• Operate the hotel’s communication systems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
• Follow up and follow through in resolving guests concerns and/or requests courteously and accurately -Responds to inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns
• Answer all incoming calls promptly in the prescribed manner
• Follows through in resolving guest problems and/or requests courteously and accurately
• Attentive and approachable personality
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
