Job summary

Mansfield City Schools seeks a dedicated PBIS Building Team Member to support planning, implementation, and monitoring of the PBIS framework within the school. You will work with colleagues to promote a positive climate and use data to guide behavioral practices.

Reports to the Building Principal and District PBIS Coordinator. You will assist with universal supports, tiered interventions, trainings, and communications to staff, students, and families while modeling PBIS and fostering student

Qualifications

• Current school staff member (teacher, counselor, administrator, paraprofessional, or support staff).
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting a positive school climate and student success.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Familiarity with school-wide expectations and basic behavioral support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Attend PBIS team meetings and participate in planning and decision-making.
• Define, teach, and reinforce school-wide behavioral expectations.
• Help develop and implement Tier 1 universal supports and acknowledgement systems.
• Contribute to the collection and analysis of school behavior data to identify trends and needs.
• Assist with PBIS communications, trainings, and materials for staff, students, and families.
• Model PBIS practices and coach other staff members.
• Support Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions with counselors or specialists.
• Participate in fidelity checks using tools such as the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI).
• Promote equity and inclusiveness in PBIS strategies and activities.
• Advocate for student voice and integrate student perspectives into PBIS practices.
• Assist with building PBIS recognition applications and related duties.
