Job summary

C S Beatty Construction LLC. is seeking a Payroll Clerk to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. You will review field and office time entries in B2W, correct errors before payroll is processed, and keep PTO balances current while coordinating with Human Resources.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with field crews and supervisors, and proficient in Excel. This in-person role offers 40 hours weekly with benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k), and

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with time tracking software; B2W a plus.
• Proficient in Excel including formulas and data sorting.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with field and office staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Review daily and weekly time entries in B2W for accuracy before payroll cutoff.
• Verify hours coded to the correct job, phase, cost code, and equipment.
• Reconcile data against payroll registers and Excel reports.
• Maintain and track PTO balances and accruals.
• Prepare payroll-ready data and reports for each pay period.
• Collaborate with HR on onboarding changes and payroll record updates.
• Support certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting as needed.
