Job summary

The Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) is seeking a Payroll Technician to manage biweekly payroll for about 900 employees and handle benefits and leave integrations. You will ensure compliance with federal and California wage laws, process payroll through ADP, and provide accurate payroll reporting and support to managers.

Ideal candidates have a background in payroll with ADP experience, strong confidentiality, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in payroll administration or similar role handling high-volume payrolls.
• Experience with computerized payroll systems and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Processes and validates biweekly payroll for ~900 employees, including hourly and salaried staff.
• Reviews and reconciles timesheets for accuracy under CA wage/hour laws.
• Administers payroll through ADP and maintains payroll records.
