Job summary

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Thorough knowledge of general office methods, practices and procedures.
• Ability to learn and understand PIMS (Personnel Information Management System).
• Demonstrated customer service experience requiring a very high level of diplomacy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process a wide range of confidential payroll and personnel transactions and ensure timely and accurate pay for state and auxiliary employees.
• Audit and certify payrolls and approve release of payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive communications with employees and external agencies.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and provide information on payroll processes and regulations.
