Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our Financial Services team in the United States, supporting payroll tax compliance and analysis.

You will work under the Payroll Tax Manager and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax setup, SIT/SUI records, and timely reporting. The role requires knowledge of federal/state regulations, multi-state experience, and the ability to create customized reports from multiple data sources.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll processes including federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to gather and integrate data from disparate sources and create customized reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative tax support by scanning and uploading tax notices to ADP Smart Compliance.
• Maintain accurate SIT/SUI records including account numbers, logins and SUI rates; contact agencies to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper tax set-up and withholding for employees based on work location and residency; address tax questions.
