Job summary

Rivian seeks a Payroll Systems Analyst to strengthen and scale payroll systems, reporting, and processes across Workday Payroll, ADP SmartCompliance, ADP Workforce Now, and Deel. You will connect payroll with HR, Finance, Tax, IT, HRIS/Systems, and vendors to support a scalable, data-driven operating model.

You will translate payroll needs into practical enhancements, maintain documentation, and help deliver compliant, efficient payroll operations across domestic and international payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supporting payroll systems, HR technology, or related business systems.
• Experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations, data, controls, and compliance.
• Experience creating reports and analytics in HRIS/payroll apps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Workday Payroll, ADP SmartCompliance, ADP Workforce Now, Deel, and related applications.
• Gather and prioritize requirements, resolve issues, and recommend enhancements with Payroll and Enterprise Systems.
• Maintain process documentation, SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
