Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst to strengthen and scale our payroll systems, reporting, and processes. You will act as a functional liaison across Workday Payroll, ADP SmartCompliance, ADP Workforce Now, and Deel, collaborating with HR, Finance, Tax, IT, and external vendors to build scalable, data-driven payroll operations.

You will translate payroll needs into concrete system enhancements, strengthen data quality and compliance, and drive core improvements that reduce manual work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years supporting payroll systems or related HR tech.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday HCM.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations, data, controls and compliance.
• Experience creating reports in Workday or other HRIS/payroll apps.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional system needs.
• Experience coordinating UAT, validation, and readiness activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Clear communication and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Systems Support for Workday Payroll, ADP SmartCompliance, ADP Workforce Now, Deel, and related applications.
• Gather and prioritize requirements, resolve issues, and recommend enhancements with Payroll and Enterprise Systems.
• Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.
