Job summary

California Department of Justice is seeking a Payroll Supervisor (Supervisor I) in Sacramento with hybrid telework options for a 12-month limited-term full-time assignment. The Supervisor I Will Be Expected To
  • Plan and oversee a variety of important work processes related to payroll and benefits
  • Ensure correct and timely payment of wages

  • Draft letters and other correspondence regarding highly technical subject matters
  • Work and communicate with control agencies
  • Serve on human resources‑related task forces within the Department or with other departments
