Qualifications

• Plan and oversee payroll and benefits processes.
• Ensure correct and timely payment of wages.
• Independently identify and resolve complex transaction issues.
• Act as custodian of records.
• Draft letters and correspondence on technical HR matters.
• Coordinate with control agencies.
• Participate in HR-related task forces within the Department or with other departments.

Responsibilities

• The Supervisor I acts as a technical expert to the Department's Executive Staff; Director of the Office of Human Resources; Personnel Officer; program managers and supervisors, as well as to analysts and other staff regarding HR, payroll-related, and collective bargaining-related issues.
