The NYC Law Department is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Clerical Associate Level 4 position as a Payroll Supervisor in its Administration Division’s Payroll Unit. This role involves responsible work of varying difficulty and responsibility, performed under supervision, with decision-making and independent judgment. The selected candidate will oversee payroll operational functions, including:
High school diploma or equivalent approved by a recognized authority, plus at least one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Keyboard proficiency with a minimum of 100 keystrokes per minute.
Current certification as a Clerical Associate or active on the Clerical Associate list; strong leadership and communication skills; familiarity with NYC HR systems like NYCAPS, PI, PMS, and CHRMS.
