Job summary

Fourth is seeking a Customer Success Manager, Payroll to own adoption, retention, and expansion for large Payroll and PEO accounts. This role emphasizes payroll domain expertise, compliance, and collaboration with Payroll Operations, Tax, and Benefits to reduce churn.

You will manage a portfolio of 75–125 accounts across the customer lifecycle, define payroll-specific value milestones, and leverage AI-enabled health signals to surface risk and growth opportunities while maintaining Salesforce

Qualifications

• Experience in customer success or account management with payroll/PEO/HCM accounts.
• Ability to distinguish payroll, PEO, tax and benefits issues during triage.
• Familiarity with large/medium accounts and higher complexity customer journeys.

Responsibilities

• Own an assigned portfolio of 75–125 Payroll/PEO accounts across the customer lifecycle.
• Define payroll-specific value milestones (clean payroll run, tax setup, on-time filing, benefits enrollment).
• Coordinate with Payroll Operations, Tax, and Benefits teams to hit adoption milestones.
• Monitor payroll accuracy and filing timeliness as churn indicators.
• Escalate compliance-critical issues within 24 hours and route for sign-off as needed.
