Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Kansas City is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage company payroll operations, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and support the finance team with accurate data processing.

You will handle deductions, garnishments, reports, and direct deposits, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering timely payroll outcomes for our senior care communities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems.
• Experience in payroll in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings is highly preferred.
• Professional image and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out payroll tasks for the company in accordance with policies and laws.
• Perform historical edits, deduction adjustments, and data verification.
• Create payroll reports, process checks and direct deposits, and handle final payouts.
• Manage garnishments and special projects as needed.
