Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience in a multi-client, high-volume, or outsourced payroll environment.
• Knowledge of payroll tax requirements and compliance.
• Experience handling payroll for multiple pay groups, entities, or clients simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for ~60 client organizations across various industries.
• Administer payroll through QuickBooks Payroll (Intuit) and related platforms.
• Manage payroll processing for clients with multiple entities and payroll groups.
• Handle multi-state payroll processing and related tax compliance requirements.
• Prepare and file payroll tax reports and filings.
• Coordinate payroll-related remittances, including taxes and retirement plan contributions.
• Process bonuses and other supplemental compensation.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and client inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Provide exceptional client support and payroll guidance.
