Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act requirements, and experience with CBAs and union payroll.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of prevailing wage regulations and certified payroll reporting.
• Experience with Davis-Bacon Act compliance.
• Experience with CBAs and union wage rates.
• Experience in construction or project-based payroll preferred.
• 3–5 years of payroll administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on schedule.
• Review and audit time records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
• Process wage garnishments, tax levies, and other payroll adjustments.
• Assist with year-end activities including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.
• Process payroll in accordance with CBAs and union contracts.
• Prepare and submit union remittance and benefit reports.
• Reconcile union benefits payments and employer contributions.
• Ensure proper classification and compensation per labor agreements.
