Job summary

Factory Motor Part is seeking a payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll processes in a Minnesota-based, on-site office environment (Eagan area). You will compile and validate time and attendance data, prepare payroll submissions for our outsourced HRIS partner, and act as the primary liaison to resolve data discrepancies and processing questions.

This role requires 2–4+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and thorough knowledge of payroll fundamentals.

• 2–4+ years of payroll experience
• Experience with outsourced/third-party payroll/HRIS
• Strong Excel and HRIS/payroll platform knowledge
• Attention to deadlines and cross-team coordination
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Compile and validate time, attendance, and pay-adjustment data.
• Prepare and submit payroll data files to outsourced vendor within deadlines.
• Serve as liaison with HRIS outsourcing team, resolving data discrepancies and processing questions.
• Review vendor payroll output for accuracy before finalization.
• Track termination submissions for timely updates in HRIS.
• Reconcile payroll submissions with internal records and the general ledger.
• Maintain documentation of submission schedules, vendor communications, and issue resolution.
• Support audits related to payroll data and vendor processing.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce errors and turnaround time.
