DBMG Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day payroll for assigned groups, ensuring accurate and timely pay for 500-1000+ employees. You will review timecards, process new hires and changes, finalize payroll, and prepare reconciliations in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years payroll processing experience, with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup) and a high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll practices and regulations at federal/state/local levels.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookup.
• Discretion with confidential employee information and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payrolls and off-cycles for assigned groups with 500-1000+ employees.
• Review timecards for discrepancies and communicate with Supervisors as needed.
• Review and edit timesheets, process new hires and changes.
• Prepare reconciliations, validate totals and finalize payroll documentation.
• Coordinate garnishments and other with 3rd party vendors as required.
• Maintain records and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
