Job summary

CFS in Tigard, OR is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a growing team. The role offers $70,000–$80,000 annually and a competitive benefits package with 4+ weeks PTO in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will process payroll, review timekeeping, maintain records, and assist with year-end tasks such as W-2s, while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Construction wage experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Construction or prevailing wage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for employees.
• Review timekeeping and payroll data for accuracy.
• Maintain employee payroll records and process deductions and adjustments.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and timekeeping.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records.
• Partner with HR and accounting on payroll-related matters.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s.
• Support payroll process improvements and other projects as needed.
