BLUESTONE COMMUNICATIONS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll processing across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate pay in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will support the Payroll Manager with audits, trainings, and tax payments, handle employee files, and assist with hiring, terminations, garnishments, and benefits distributions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record running payroll.
• Ability to handle data with high confidentiality.
• Keen attention to detail and strong math skills.
• Knowledge of unemployment taxes, garnishments and benefits distribution.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Independently run inhouse, full-cycle payrolls for various states.
• Process updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
• File payroll taxes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Prepare and maintain payroll transaction records and reports.
• Assist management with team training and respond to day-to-day questions.
• Support audits by gathering documents and reports.
