ARIS Solutions is hiring a Payroll Specialist in White River Junction, VT. The role handles bi-weekly payrolls for nonprofit partners, maintains records, processes benefits and deductions, and ensures compliance. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of payroll or bookkeeping experience.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to navigate various payroll software systems (UKG Ready etc.).
• Knowledge of GAAP and payroll tax withholdings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payrolls for multiple agency partners.
• Maintain employee payroll records and benefits deductions.
• Review timesheets and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and monthly reconciliations.
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries.
