Qualifications

• Minimum four years of payroll experience.
• Associates degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing payroll for multi-state company for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Processing prevailing wage payroll and related compliance paperwork.
• Reviewing timecards for accuracy and required approvals.
• Staying up to date on all payroll laws, including prevailing wage.
• Keeping up to date on all company policies that concern payroll and timekeeping.
• Reconciling payroll records with accounting systems and third party systems.
• Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting regarding employees and payroll.
• Responsible for payroll reporting in compliance with state and federal laws.
